In Serbia and Montenegro /Belgrade and Novi Sad/ there are many dogs in the streets. People are hungry, and very rarely one does actually think about dogs.
Vets kill dogs in this way
One of them takes dog and places him on his back legs, holds him strongly, while the other one gives him injection filled with some detergent that goes directly to dogs heart. After they do so, dog is dying slowly and painfully and just before he dies they put him in the fire. There are documents about all this. I saw it on TV few days ago.
Can you imagine? And NOBODY CAN HELP! I am desperate.
There is one more VERY important thing. In Serbia there is no law that covers rights of animals, but there is a Catch-22. My country can't be involved in EU before having STATUTE about rights of animals.
Can you help? My suggestion is:
DON'T KILL DOGS, STERILISATION IS HUMAN AND BETTER! IT CAN FIX THE PROBLEM OF THOUSAND DOGS IN THE STREETS!!!
