Up Til Dawn (UTD) is a student-run collegiate organization that aims to raise money for and awareness of St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). On February 22nd, a budget was presented to the Student Government Association of Stevens Institute of Technology in regards to funding for a finale event to be hosted by UTD. The proposed budget was declined. Currently, UTD is not a recognized student organization and receives no funding from the student activities fund. The UTD board is petitioning to receive not all, but a reasonable working amount, of the originally proposed budget to fund the event. The intent of the finale event is to spark awareness on campus of UTD and its cause, in hopes of raising funds to benefit the life-saving work done at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
