Samuel Jason Derrick is currently on death row at Union Correctional Institution for a murder he did not commit. Samuel (goes by Jason) has been on death row since 1988 and he was put there by a so called friend who implicated Jason, after he, himself, was arrested for the murder, and also by two detectives who said Jason confessed despite there being no documentation such as a tape recording, video tape or a signed statement to support their allegations of a confession. There was no DNA or forensic evidence or physical evidence that exists which implicates Jason to this crime.
Jason is an innocent man on death row. Before his arrest, he was happily married with an infant son and though he is now divorced, he still maintains a strong bond and relationship with his son. It has been 16 years of injustice thus far and it is past due for Jason and his son to be reunited so please, sign this petition as an act of support and as a declaration that justice will not be served until Jason is once again a free man. Jason has maintained his innocence since the day of his arrest and is a kind, compassionate and loving man.

i watched a court tv last and a man slit his girlfriends throat then he totally cut her up and threw her parts out for the animals to eat her,pulled her teeth with pliers so no match could be found, he got 15-25 years no not death row and anyway you look

i hope this helps i dont think ANYONE should be on death row i look at it as he may or may not have commited a terrible crime but when you are about to exicute a person you are killing them thats a crime in my eyes as well but its a law. everyone deseves
