Free the Media. Free your Mind.

We, the press & the media in Manila, who are committed to the great principles and ideaologies of press & media freedom with responsibility, advocacy in public relations, truth in advertising, and free & fair business and marketing communication practices - together with likeminded and likehearted campus journalists, corporate communicators and provincial press across The Philippines, including the Filipino and foreigner friends of the Filipino people practitioners in more than 100 countries, are now coming together from this 3rd day of May, 2005 - UN World Press Freedom Day - and onwards, to synergize with all the freedom-loving peoplepowers of the world to help Free the Media... in order to Free your Mind.

We petition the press & the media to free themselves (and ourselves) of graft, corruption and synonymous negative disposition in the practice of their (and our) profession.

By freeing the press & the media, we are freeing the minds and hearts of all young and old peoples of the world - regardless of class, color or creed - to keep them forever liberated from the abuse, misconduct, indiscretion, indecision, exploitation, misfortune and similar uninspired and unenlightened thoughts, words and actions of, for and by political, business and faith-based leaders of many countries.

We do this for the sake of our present and next generations.
