FREE TYRONE BROWN: Sentenced to Life in Prison for violationg probation by testing positive once for marijuana

Last night I saw on 20/20 the story of Tyrone Brown. Mr. Brown, a black man with little money, who is currently serving life in prison in Texas, where he has been for the past 16 years. He took part in a $2 stickup in which no one got hurt. He pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and was put on 10 years of probation. He broke the rules once, by smoking marijuana. A Dallas judge, Judge Keith Dean, responded in the harshest possible way: He replaced the original sentence with a life term in prison.
This in comparison to John Alexander Wood's story, a white man from a prominent family who shot and killed an unarmed person in the back. He received 10 years probation, then while on his probation repeatedly failed his drug test and tested positive for cocaine, and had a breaking and entering. His verdict...he was released from his probation also by Judge Keith Dean and no further charges brought against him. Please investigate this...it seems that one thing determines the outcome in court...money and the color of a person's skin.
