Freedom For The Trix Rabbit

Throughout our lives, we witness many injustices in society. The Civil Rights movement to battle injustices against African Americans, The Gay Pride movement to battle the injustices that homosexuals and lesbians have to endure almost daily. Yes, unfortunately, we witness many injustices. One of them is shown to us throughout our life, all American citizens see this injustice, and all are all to familiar with it. The injustices are displayed and shown to us daily across the land through television, and it has gone on long enough.

Many groups are discriminated against, one such group is mascots. Yes, our beloved mascots suffer injustices just as much as you and I. Lucky the Leprechaun, constantly fleeing from children is an example. Another example, and the one that is the subject of this petition is simple: Let The Rabbit have his Trix.

The Trix Rabbit sells the beloved cereal to the masses, as he has for a lifetime now. Yet throughout his existence, he has always yearned for one thing and one thing only: Trix. Is it not to much to ask to have the children, who so often crush his dreams and mock him with their catch phrases, to show a shred of human compassion and decency? Is that not one of the things that separates man from beast, compassion? For years he has attempted to get the Trix, only to be foiled at every turn. Not even a single bowel, not even a cup of yogurt is allowed to this poor creature. Is it not to much to ask to let him win, just once? Let the Rabbit have his Trix, he has earned them.
