Freedom from the So-Called American Press

We are tired of the relentless attacks on our American dignity. We firmly hold true that America is not evil, nor does it cower in the face of it.

Media reports from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and on portray our country as weak and dependent upon world opinions and internal polls. It portrays America as one who doesn't stand firm behind its President and cabinet members. It portrays America as a country that has no moral right to confront evil in this world. It shows an America whose borders should be porous and allow entry to people who don't hold its founding values. It displays a country where actions should carry no consequences only when it benefits their own political will.

We, Americans, are outraged by the events surrounding Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. Outraged because finally torture is being brought to our enemies and the political left sees wrong in it. Our enemy stops at nothing to torture, maim, and kill Americans (ie. 9/11, charred and burnt bodies hanging from bridges in Iraq, roadside bombs killing Americans who are trying to bring civility and order to a country that has not known it in recent memory). Where is the outrage, other than that politically motivated against President Bush?

The media will have you believe our soldiers are less because of what took place at Abu Ghraib prison. We say, God bless them, for their courage in battles past, present and future, which we wish on no decent people.

We say God bless President Bush for not only standing firm against enemies who would do us harm, but for his steadfastness against political enemies who would weaken us for political gain rather than win against our greatest threat of recent times.

We are tired of CNN, which sees no issue with making allegiance with Al Jezeera, yet has problems with the reporting of FOX News.

We are sick of hearing countless media reports about the war effort failing, when 9/11 occurred and failure is simply no option.

We are tired of news outlets making fuss over our lack of working involvement with France, Germany, and Russia with regards to the War on Terror, and how we shouldn't intervene in such places as Iraq alone. Those countries exist today in part because there was a time when we intervened on their behalf. And we are not alone when fighting the enemies in Iraq. Even if we were alone, would our struggles carry less merit, our goals not worthy of fulfilling?

We are tired of the media making no connection between the war in Iraq and the war on terror. The American people are smarter than this. When the beheading of an American in Iraq shows up on an Al Qaeda Website, does one need further proof?

Your author can go on and on. And much of this might seem like ramblings, please forgive.

My frustration has become so great, I can no longer count the things I've seen or read from the media that has angered me in the face of a very important and dreadful war, which we must win.

Please assist the author with writing comments about what you are tired of from the liberal media. My hope is to e-mail this web page to all of the media outlets with our comments.
