From the People of the World

How you vote this November 2nd unquestionably affects people of the entire world, often as much and too often far, far more than it affects you. Who you let into power, elected or not really, has repercussions around the world for which you each bear a certain responsibility.

We, the People of the World, ask you, the People of America, to wake up and stand up for The People the world over, and save us all, and save the world, from the devastating consequences of another four years of Bush administration.

We depend entirely on you. Please do not let us down. Please do not let the world down. We are counting on you.

[Grassroots of the world: to manifest this global democratic sentiment, Sunday, October 24th, 2004 is hereby proposed as Global "From the People of the World to the People of the United States of America" Day, aka P2P Day, aka Global "Anybody But Bush" Day. Please self-organize events from grassroots up if you would like to see this occur. To preempt the Bush spinmeisters' and media pundits' attempt to distort and portray global anti-Bush sentiment as anti-Americanism, it is important that this event be free of violence, government involvement, and anti-American rhetoric that is not clearly attributable to Bush.]

As non-American citizens, we do not send this plea to you without good reason - even if US foreign policy has been and remains synonymous with foreign interference. But as citizens of the world, one that the US, particularly under Bush, throws its weight around in, this is one message that we feel the utmost need to convey to you.

People of America, please do not let us down.
