Furres for New Haven as OOC

Dear Furcadia Staff,

Many of the main maps of Furcadia are role play friendly. There is no single main map where role play is banned. Acropolis claims to not allow role playing but it is frequently used for role playing because it is a place for dream uploads, thus attracting furres who are strictly In Character and wanting to upload dreams, it is linked to two R-rated dreams (Furrabian Nights and Dusk 2 Dawn) that are generally attractive to role players and it features a chapel that would obviously be used for persona play or role playing. It is also difficult to walk around in Acropolis due to a clutter of dreams near the entrance of the map.

There are main maps, e.g. Theriopolis and Imaginarium, that are dedicated (some times strictly dedicated) to role play or persona play. Meovanni also encourages persona play.

The map of New Haven is not strictly In Character or Out Of Character. There are many veteran furres who tend to be in New Haven who are not role players or do not role play in New Haven. It is generally accepted by those of us who have been on Furcadia for a longer period of time that New Haven is not an area for role play. Unfortunately, Furcadias description of this map, including the Welcome Beekins tours, disagree with this unofficial policy. Therefore, we suggest that instead of Acropolis being set aside as the Out Of Character area, because of the reasons listed above, you limit New Haven to being an Out Of Character (and possibly casual persona play) map. This would prevent many arguments (between New Haven regulars and role players) and give Out Of Character furres a good place to meet.
