Future of the Power Rangers

Dear Disney,

Around the 2002 mark, you purchased MMPR Productions from Saban Inc. and are the current distributor's of Power Ranger material. To this day you have brought in many new fan's, as well as brought back man older fan's. I, for one, have been swayed by your phenominal seasons that are Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder and Space Patrol Delta.

However, like all things, nothing is perfect. We, the Power Ranger Fan's, have only a few suggestions that may help the Power Ranger future as we know it. It maybe in your best interest that some of these idea's be reviewed should you like to obtain higher ratings and even more money.

The following information has been composited from a few different sites but all of these suggestions are shared by each and every fan:

1) T.V Movies: Unlike Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, we are not asking for a theatrical movie, but a simple hour T.V Movie. Many, if not all, of the current Sentai seasons have had a movie dedicated to their season. We feel that because of the popularity of Power Rangers, each of our season's deserve a movie as well. By doing this, you will draw in many new fan's and even draw in the older fan's who are still hybernating.

2) Team Up Episodes: Team Up Episodes are the anxiously awaited episodes of each and every season, especially if the previous season is a fan favorite. Most Team Up Episodes last only two episodes. As fan's, we believe it should have 3, even 4 episodes. It would require more payment to the actor's, however, by doing this, it will most likely increase your rating's of the seaon as well as every season there after. Only 2 episodes of a team up does not leave fan's satisfied and often begging for more. If you truely in it to please the fan's, then this is one of the biggest ways to do it.

3) Longer Seasons: All the way up to Wild Force, season's ranged anywhere between 40 and 45 episodes, not including Mighty Morphing Power Rangers which had a 155 episodes. Currently, the past three season's have only been 38 Episodes. With Sentai Season's lasting between 45 and 50 episodes, this is a lot of footage that goes unused. Much like the Team Up Episodes, only 38 Episode Seasons leave us very unsatisfied, especially with the episodes themselves. For example, in Power Rangers: SPD, Messanger and Shadow could have easily been 3 or 4 part episodes.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers had one arc that lasted 5 episodes; Green With Evil. Fan's miss these kinds of episodes and have been dieing to have them back. Granted, extending the season lengths from 38 to 40 or even 45 would require more money, but in return T.V Ratings most likely will go up as will merchendise. In the end, it will all even out and perhaps even give you a profit; a bigger one if you are currently making one.

4) Offical Book: Was Wes, Sky's dad? Did Time Force have any effect on the creation of S.P.D? Was S.P.D meant to be all along and actually effect the creation of Time Force? These are only a few of the unanswered questions that linger in the Power Ranger universe. The Expanded Universe (EU from here on out) try to answer these questions, but it is only fan speculation. Would it be possible to perhaps comply with an offical timeline, character biographies and such? This will make many, many fan's happy if you were to release one.

5) American Footage: We know that seasons do have American footage, and considering you are one of the most well known, most well established companies in the world (since the '50s, dare say '40s?) raising the budget for Power Rangers would barely dent the bank account. Many fan's would like to see more American Footage; such as Forever Red (Wild Force), Fighting Spirit (Tommy's dream state as well as certain parts of the battle) and perhaps even a full American produced Season, one day. Again, the rating's and merchandise will benifit from this.
