Galerians Anime Series

The Galerians series has made a small but important mark in the hearts of fans in the gaming & anime world. In 2000, the first Galerians game was released for Playstation as the first ever psychic game; and not long after two more installments followed in 2002. Galerians: Rion a 3D action anime movie, and the sequel to the first game Galerians: Ash released on the Playstation 2.

Admired by fans for the great, dark story telling of a young mans battle with the genetic enhanced humans, the Galerians, and his race against time to stop the crazed AI mother computer, Dorothy, from wiping out mankinds existence, the strong point of the Galerians series has always been its' one of a kind story and characters with their own unique personalities, the reason, why after so many years fans still enjoy it and why new ones are still joining to this day.

Sadly, for many fans the hopes of another installment to your Galerians series has withered slowly over the years. Also the tale of a boys struggle in a world gone mad has never been properly appreciated by critics in game form or movie.

This saddens me as a fan to see that the series might fade without any good recognition and be able to shine to its potential, when I and other fans of your series believe it could spark many peoples attention if given that chance, and an anime series could be that answer.

Although the movie Galerians: Rion replayed on the events of the first game, the 3D computer graphic movie fell short at 60 minutes (without including 13 minute long credits) and only gave a small taste of the action when so much was missed or left out.

If Galerians was released as a Japanese anime, it might achieve a much wider range of audience and earn the popularity and respect it so greatly deserves.

And if it were in the form of episodes, there would be far more time to open up on the story and fill in the unexplained parts previously missed from Galerians: Rion and be able to dive down much further into the life of the characters and the world going on around them.

It is the reason why I have started this petition, to show to you the thoughts of not only myself, but the thoughts of other fans of the your Galerians series and their agreement to back the idea of an anime series, and to prove that even though the years have passed, the fans are still here and that even now new ones are joining.
