Gay Marriges

Hello, as most people know, there is currently a bill passing in Congress to make gay marriages illegal. Well most people are also familiar with the first amendment on the Bill of Rights, The right to religion, assembly, PETITION, press, and speech. Well, by choosing who we marry, isnt that a form of speech? Of saying who we love? Yes, it is.

Those who are gay and lesbian should be able to marry whomever they choose to marry. By them marrying someone whom they have realized they love, to most people, it makes no difference. It is their life, so let them live it however they want to.

I do recognize, however, that even if they were allowed to get legally married, they might be humiliated, and discriminated against, but, at least they would be together. I, myself, know that I will be marrying someone who is of opposite sex, but that doesnt mean that they should have to too.
