Georgia Control of Congressional Reps.

We, the undersigned, do believe the individual States that make up the Union, should take back the powers lost to the Federal government throughout history by:





1) Requiring all those that represent this State in Congress be employed by the State (and thus paid by the State). All pay from other sources (including pay from the Federal government and special interest groups) deemed illegal while representing the people of this State in Congress.


2) Those elected by the people of this State to represent the State in Congress should be allowed no more than a total of 12 years as a representative of that State in any one house of Congress. Representatives of the House shall be permitted no more than 3 terms of 4 years and Senators shall be permitted no more than 2 terms of 6 years. However, if a representative of the State not complete the maximum number of terms allowed in a house of Congress, then that person shall be allowed to run for the other house of Congress and may be allowed to run for re-election through the maximum number of term allowed for that house. No persons shall represent the State in any one house of congress after leaving that house and being elected into the second house.





We, the undersigned, do believe this will ensure that the representation of this State in Congress be for the good of the State, not the individual.
