This man is John Bates!
He played everyband that needed a gig! he paid the bands so fairly! Without this man many bands would have either never started or folded in their early stages! Through John giving his life to live music giving all you people somewhere to watch the best live music Preston has to offer, he gave up his relationship with his woman he got deeper and deeper in debt! When the Mill takeover the 12bar on the 19th December this year John and Be have nothing! no home no money!
I therefore ask you all to sign this petition to help get John Bates a job behind the Bar of The 12bar not only to help him make ends meet but so everyone still has a reason to walk through the doors of The 12Bar!
