Ellen,

Please bring the SUPER JUNIOR to the Ellen show! They're the leader of the Korean Wave (Hallyu) and they've just recently released their 5th album - which is IMMENSELY successful so far and even ranked #56 and #89 on the U.S. iTunes charts a few days after it's release - entitled "Mr. Simple". Their dance moves are incredible, their singing is mesmerizing, and their personalities are so unique and hilarious.

Super Junior was formerly a 13-member group comprised of: Park Jungsu (Leeteuk), Kim Heechul, Han Geng (Hankyung), Kim Jongwoon (Yesung), Kim Youngwoon (Kangin), Shin Donghee (Shindong), Lee Sungmin, Lee Hyukjae (Eunhyuk), Choi Siwon, Lee Donghae, Kim Ryeowook, Kim Kibum, and Cho Kyuhyun. In addition, Zhou Mi (another Chinese member) and Henry Lau (from Canada), had joined a "sub-group" of Super Junior, called Super Junior-M (Mandarin) in 2008. However, due to some struggles and personal interests, Han Geng (Hankyung) had officially terminated his contract in 2010 and left to start a solo career in China (where he's originally from), Kim Youngwoon (Kangin) had enlisted in the military on July 5th, 2010 after some scandals, and Kim Kibum had taken a "break" from the group to pursue his acting career. However, the boys have remained "brothers" through thick and thin and they will always support each other after the years they've been together. Going through such difficulties, also including Kyuhyun and Leeteuk's severe injuries in a car crash in 2007, has only made them stronger and better people.

Also, they encourage diversity within the group; which is comprised of actors, models, variety show MCs, radio show hosts, musical stars, and so on. There are also "sub-groups" within Super Junior including: Super Junior-M (mentioned previously), Super Junior-K.R.Y. (which includes three of the best singers in the group - Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung), Super Junior-T (whom are the comedic entertains who sing the 'Trot' genre), and Super Junior-H (whom sing 'Happy' songs that are silly and upbeat). As opposed to normal "pop stars" and "boybands", Super Junior performs ballads, trot, dance songs, almost EVERY genre. Super Junior, unlike other groups, will never 'disband' - they will simply start down individual career paths while still remaining a group together.

This is the prime opportunity to have them on your show - they're at the top with their new album release this year and, not to mention, their leader Leeteuk and the charismatic Heechul (who dressed up in "SMTown Paris" as "Teuk-yonce" and "Lady HeeHee", respectively - even gaining Lady Gaga's attention) will be enlisting next year for the army for two years (joining member Kangin, whom enlisted in July 2010) as part of a requirement for all Korean men under the age of 30.

They're anticipating a World Tour towards the end of the year/early 2012 and will be visiting both South American countries and the U.S. - further demonstrating the massive amount of fans all across the world. There had even been an "SMTown" (which entails all groups from the parent company, S.M. Entertainment) concert in L.A. in 2010 in addition to the SMTown concert in Paris - which a HUGE success and shows not only the number of foreign fans (in Paris, alone), but also the devotion of the fans all across the world. E.L.F.s (Everlasting Friends) are the official Super Junior fan-club and we will stick by our boys no matter what!

They'll bring a set of new and fresh personalities to the Ellen Show and, as the elected Korean Ambassadors of 2011, will be able to demonstrate the pride of their nation and encourage the sharing of cultures as well.

They've been performing and giving their best since 2005 and we hope to see them for at least 5 more years! Pearl Sapphire Blue is their "balloon color" and, if you invite them to your show, your audience will no doubt be a sea of Sapphire Blue. As leader Leeteuk hopes, "[they will perform] until Pearl Sapphire Blue covers the entire world".

As a normal, everyday teenager in the States, Super Junior has come to make me realize that music is music - regardless of the language it's spoken in. They're songs are just like ours - catchy, heartwarming, or sad; always full of emotion. They have become an inspiration in my life - changing my future ambitions and making me strive to become a English teacher in South Korea (because I love the subject and the opportunity). I've come to embrace Korean culture as well as become more aware of cultures all around the world as well - not ignorant and myopic to them as most Americans are. I could go on and on about Super Junior and how greatly they've impacted my life, but I'd probably end up writing a novel.

All in all, they have inspired people all around the world regardless of their age (my 52-year old mother enjoys them as well!) and they deserve a spot on the Ellen show.

Super Junior + Ellen = the formula for success!

I hope you take this opportunity to invite them and convince them to guest on your show - you won't be missing out! You'll open the eyes of Americans to foreign music and (contrary to most American music) APPROPRIATE, catchy songs! (If you need any further proof, just look up "Twins", "U", "Don't Don", "Sorry, Sorry", "Bonamana", or "Mr. Simple" - all of their 'title' songs).

Thank you so much for your interest in new singers, and I hope to see Super Junior on the television screen sometime soon!
