Give Adults the right to Game in OZ

Australia currently laments a non existent R+18 classification, for video games made available to Australia by homemade and overseas video game creators
what this means to you...?
The current government classification in essence says, you as an adult, who can enjoy all other aspects of adult life, are restricted to playing non adult specific classified games, if a game is determined to fit into a category higher than MA+15 it is given (RC) refused classification,
this means the game is banned until it is reduced to a level that applies to the MA+15 category, in short, you as a gamer get a watered down version of the game, or the game creator pulls the game from the Australian market making it not available to you at all
this stance against allowing for higher game classifications is made unusual due to statements in the "national classification code" part (1.A) and (1.D)
National Classification Code:
classification decisions are to give effect, as far as possible, to the following principals.
-In pat (1.A) of the national classification code, it states - "adults should be able to read,
hear and see what they want"
-In part (1.D) of the national classification code, it states - "the need to take account of
community concerns"
Take a stand and voice your concerns if you feel the Australian adult community is being duped
by our government, and help sway the minds of those we elected to look after our best interests
if you are part of a video game community or have friends who agree please do help spread the word
