I would like a reconsideration of the winter break being taken. Days can be added, or early release days could be filled. It is being felt that making school activities on a week were many not only student, but teachers had things planned. All the signers of this petition are asking is to try to find another way to work the days into the 180 days of school.

I dont think Rockdale should take away Winter Break becaus the governer said it was a state of emergency! Road ways were not safe for driving and that was not our fault. Add more days but please dont take away breaks. Winter Break is also a break that tea

the students still have about 10 1/2 days the should become whole days to make up the 1 week off during the winters plans have already been made and in somecase airplane tickets already boughfor that week for our kids.
