Give us AICTE approval

We are the students of BIS(H) (Bachelors of Information System Honours) of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The course was introduced as BIT (Bachelor of Information Technology), a competitive examination was also held for BIT, but at the time of our admission it was arbitrarily changed to BIS(H).We were told at the time of counselling that AICTE approval has been sought and is awaited, the courses name will be changed back as soon as the university gets the approval.
But, even after four years, when the course has just finished, our course has not received any such approval all due to the negligence of the university. We even went on strike for the same reason but still university remained nonchalant towards us.
Sir, even after devoting four years of our life and studying the subjects taught at computer engineering discipline it is very disheartening and depressing for us to know that this course is not a technical course and is only at par with general courses like B.A. or B.Com and we cannot get admission to M. Tech or any such higher engineering discipline.
Sir, you will understand our predicament. Our parents have spent hard-earned money in the fond hope that the BIS(H) (earlier BIT) degree being awarded by a technical university would brighten the chances but that has been dashed. Such a rosy picture was painted at the time of admission that many of us who had got admissions in other engineering disciplines left their courses to join BIS and they are now repenting.
Sir, we have very high hopes from you and we request and pray you to kindly look into this matter and give us the justice which we have been denied so far so that we can proceed to shape our future and thereby the future of India.
We will remain eternally obliged to you.
