Goblet of Fire being made into a 2 and a half hour movie?? I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!

Two of my friends and I have just recently discovered that the next Harry Potter Movie-Goblet of Fire- is going to be made into a 2 and a half hour film. Many Harry potter fans will be mortified to hear this, as the book is so large and they can hardly fit most of the 4th edition of the series into two and a half hours.
Lord Of the Rings: Return of the King was 3 hours, 20 minutes and plenty of children sat through that-how come they cannot sit through 3 and a half hours, if not longer, of Harry Potter?
We believe that they should make the film as long as possible to fit in as much of the story as they can to stay true to the books. We also believe that fans will be much more pleased sitting through a 3 and a half hour movie with most of the vital information, apposed to a 2 and a half hour movie which hardly scratches the depth of the storyline.

The movie Prisoner of Azkaban is already different from the book because of all the cuttings... Please do not cut anymore, I'm sure Harry Potter fans out there are more than willing to sit through a much awaited film for 3 hours, or even go to watch GoF P
