I have heard that you're going to launch an add-on to your game Half-life 2. I have also heard that you're going to launch it ONLY via Steam. I think that is stupid.
Most of people don't want to download it via steam. And some people even can't because they don't have credit card. What are you going to say to them? "Sorry, get a credit card or you can't have it." ? That makes no sense.
People want some concrete in their hands when they buy something. So this petition is for that you sell the add-on also on traditional "box". We want it that way.
