HD DVDS ARE BETTER

HD DVDs are better then Blu-Ray DVDs. HD DVDs allow its costumers to witness certain features that Blu-Ray does not. HD DVDs have amazing interactive features including web enabled content that allows that costumer to download interactive bonus features. They also have picture in picture playablity that allows for the costumer to watch bonus content while watching the movie. HD DVDs also have a special feature that allows the costumer to save their favorite scenes of the movie. Imagine, you are watching your favorite action sequence in the film The Fast and the Furious and you want to see it again. Thanks to HD DVDs, you can bookmark your favorite scenes and enjoy viewing them for as long as you want. As far as I am concerned, Blu-Ray does not have these features. In fact, most Blu-Ray DVDs just have the same special features (like making of, bloopers, etc.) of a standard DVD.

Blu-Ray also seems very selective of its supporters. For instance, it has been said on the web that Blu-Ray will not allow pornography to be on its format. HD DVDs on the other hand allow that certain type of entertainment on its players (did you get that men). Remember Beta vs. VHS? Beta was made by Sony which partitally lost to VHS because porn was widely avalible on VHS. Doesnt that sound pretty close to Blu-Ray vs. HD DVDs? If the same effect happens to the format war going on now, doesnt it seem likely that HD DVDs might win?

HD DVD players cost less then Blu-Ray. HD DVD players cost from two hundred dollars to four hundred dollars. Plus, you also get five free HD DVDs with the buy of one plus another two free HD DVDs inside the box of an HD DVD player (all HD DVD players for the extra two HD DVD may be only for selective players). With Blu-Ray, players may cost from four hundred dollars to one thousand dollars (HOLY CRAP). A thousand dollar DVD player is pretty extreme in my opinion.

Yes, I will addmit that Blu-Ray has some ups. They do have the most studio support and capacibility, but are those enough reasons not to support HD DVDs? Is it? Besides, if more HD DVD players and HD DVDs are sold like they used too, studios will edventually crawl back to HD DVD. Some people know that Warner Bros. and New Line just switched to Blu-Ray, but if we show that there still are HD DVD costumers out there ready for more, they might just come back. Please reader, before you go out to buy a Blu-Ray or HD DVD player think about what is on this petition and that HD DVDs are the look and sound of perfect.

Note: if this petition gets enough supports, it will be sent to Warner Bros and New Line and maybe other Blu-Ray supporters.
