At the time of the crime he was 17 years old, dependant on drugs and did his crime on many drugs, wanting more drugs.
He plead to the first judge who gave him a small time in rehab "safp" for close to two years then to the second judge " second county" he was given 9 yrs tdc.
During which, the other co/actor in the crime was given 6 yrs and another was dismissed of the charges due to insuffecient evidence.
They said my husband was the ring leader therefore he was given more time but , someone young as he was, with a wife and child and a proven change should not be dismissed as if he were a souless being.
" he was on bond for a year, stayed out of trouble, worked and always made a court appearance on time"
During the crime, he had approx. 4 months till his 18th birthday where he recieved 23,000 dollars.
so, how could someone who so odviously was lost and drug dependant , whom was in a few short months to recieve thousands of dollars be just another common criminal and be thrown into the lions den as if our state couldnt find a better way?
