Helix for Canadian Music Hall of Fame

We, the undersigned, believe that "Helix", one of the greatest rock bands to come out of Canada, deserve to be in the Music Hall of Fame in Toronto Ont.
Helix paved the way for other rock acts to follow from Canada, opening doors and showing that bands from Canada could be a success all over the world. In 1985, they were the first Canadian Band to do an extensive tour across Sweden following their release of the album, "Long Way To Heaven". In Brian Vollmers words "Helix broke down many barriers for Canadian bands that are enjoying success overseas right now."
Their string of massive world-wide hits includes "Gimme Gimme Good Loving", "Heavy Metal Love", "Deep Cuts the Knife", "Wild in the Streets", "Dream On", "Kids Are All Shaking", "The Kids Are All Shakin'", "Make Em Dance" and of course "Rock You" to name but a few.
Most recently, they have just completed a successful tour of Canada, playing to large, enthusiastic audiences and drawing rave reviews wherever they played. Their fans are spread around the world to this day, and new generations of fans are discovering their music all the time.
We would respectfully ask that the selection committee of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame consider "Helix" for inclusion in an upcoming vote, so that this obvious oversight can be corrected as soon as possible, and Helix can take their rightful place in the Hall of Fame.
