We are the residents of Kansas City and the greater metropolitan area. We are certain that there is a market for a balance of political talk/news radio in our community. Currently, the market is heavily focused on the conservative side of political talk radio, leaving little to no balance.
We, the undersigned on-line petitioners, ask that our market provides a competitive balance of liberal political talk radio, by adding the Air America format. The Air America format will provide ample competition to stations providing conservative political talk/news programming.
We the undersigned on-line petitioners ask Radio Station owners, Program Directors and General Managers in the Kansas and Missouri markets, in the name of fairness in the use of the public airwaves, to bring Air America Radio to Kansas City and the greater metropolitan area.
