Help Restore Sexual Entertainment in Canada: Continue To Expedite The Immigration of East European Exotic Dancers

As you may know, according to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, our country is
experiencing a massive shortage of exotic dancers, so much so, that under the
stewardship of Judy Sgro, the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, the
Government of Canada has been expediting the immigration of exotic dancers from
Eastern Europe. Minister Sgro's department has been working hard to relieve the
chronic shortage by first having her officials visit strip clubs to learn of
their desperate needs. An exemplary case was that of Alina Balaican, a
25-year-old stripper who worked on Ms. Sgro's 2004 federal election campaign,
for whom the Minister later personally granted an immigration permit based on
humanitarian grounds.

Given this grave shortage (according to government records as reported in the
Globe and Mail, only just over 550 exotic dancers from Romania were granted
temporary work visas last year!), we strongly urge Minister Sgro to accelerate
the immigration of these desperately needed adult entertainers on humanitarian
grounds, that is, to provide the means to free these dancers from the oppression
in Eastern European counties, and to ease the painful longing endured by
countless sexually deprived male Canadians.
