"This is not the only book, my son encountered reading material in summer school for 7th grade that I refused to let him read. The teacher fortunately agreed. The book was about teenagers killing their English teacher, using profanity, drugs, all the thing"

"There has to be better choices for required reading, just make the effort. It is a shame that our School Board would even consider the book "The Chocolate War". I am 63 years old and I don't even need to be reading such."
