This is a call on The Weather Channel to bag its commitment to lifestyle programming, Fox News Channel-style special reports, and documentaries ("Weekend View" and "Storm Stories" come to mind) and return to doing ONLY live weather reports, and reported ONLY by trained meteorologists (sorry Dao Vu, you won't do). When people watch The Weather Channel, they expect to watch for weather reports and forecasts, maybe from their home regions of these United States, not the 200th rerun on "Storm Stories." C'mon, Landmark Communications, cut the crap and give us back our weather reports and forcasts!
