We unequivocally demand that Highway 401 between Trenton, Ontario and Toronto, Ontario, known as the "Highway of Heroes", be designated as a single-lane for repatriation purposes. Our Fallen, their families and friends deserve the respect of an open roadway, and should not have to compete for attention with up to 4 other lanes of traffic. We unequivocally demand that repatriation ceremonies down this stretch of highway be designated as "single vehicle use only" and that all other non-essential vehicles must be clear of the entire roadway 2 (two) minutes before, during, and 2 (two) minutes following the passage of the procession.

Furthermore, the cavalcade should proceed down the direct middle of the roadway, creating a clearly visual statement that a significant national event of great importance is taking place. All lanes should be obstructed by police and/or military vehicles both leading the procession and tailing the procession.

With great respect and appreciation for lives given selflessly for the betterment of others we remain,
