The Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship has been held in places throughout the U.S. such as California, Florida, and Hawaii (www.ibjjf.org). However, not once has the Pan Championships been held in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut). This is a huge disadvantage for competitors in the northeast as they must fly out to compete in the Pan Championships each year. It is only fair to hold the event in the tri-state area at least once, and there is a myriad of gyms in the region especially in New Jersey. Additionally, this will attract gyms from places such as Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida. So we ask kindly to the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation or the Confederation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, to please hold the 2009 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships in the Tri-State area.
