We the undersigned request that the asphalt parking lot of the previous Grand Hotel be converted into a recreational hub park with picnic, rest room, canoe launching ramp , parking, children’s playground, and public notice board facilities. This would be a unique flagship facility for Kitchener and would enhance the beauty, public enjoyment and historical significance of the Bridgeport area. This area is a popular hub for hikers, fishing enthusiasts, cyclists, birdwatchers, canoe and kayak users, kids playground and a meeting place for the area.
