I believe the Auckland City Council should maintain their own grass verges, rather than expect residents to do so for free.

After parking in the same area in front of my property for '3' years I received a parking ticket for parking on a "Road side grass plot or Flower beds" which I have been informed is "Council Property".
I have maintained this property too a very high standard for 3 years at my cost but under council laws I have no right too the property but am expected to mow it at my cost.
We I say "No More", its your Property Auckland City Council, I'm not an authorised Council Contractor so cant carry out work on Council property (I also don't have a Work site Health & Safety plan, don't have Public liability Insurance and I aren't legally covered too carry out work for the Auckland City Council).
Please support my petition as I intend to present this too the Auckland City Council officials.
