To anyone who listens to the radio at work, or spends a lot of time in the car, I'm sure you're with me on the fact that there are a few songs which are being played FAR too frequently. At the top of the list are "Candy Shop" by 50 Cent ft. Olivia, "Hate It Or Love It" by Game ft. 50 Cent, "Let Me Love You" by Mario "Lovers and Friends" by Lil Jon, "Soldier" by Destiny's Child, "Caught Up" by Usher "How We Do" by Game, and "Disco Inferno by 50 Cent. While I am not opposed to hearing these songs once in a while, I would love to hear a nice mix of music instead of hearing these songs played over and over again for hours at a time. I propose that there be a quota for how many times a day each radio station can play each song to avoid the songs becoming "played out". Each station should be allowed to play each hit single twice every three hours. This would allow the stations to feature these songs more often than other songs, but would force them to play other songs that the general public just does not hear often enough. When is the last time you turned on 96.5 or 98.9 and heard "Let Me Clear My Throat" before you heard "Let Me Love You?" When's the Last Time you heard a good ole banger like Excursions, or One Mic? You don't, because the offending radio stations are too busy playing the same 5 songs OVER AND OVER AGAIN. If you want to stop these stations before they ruin every good song that comes out, sign this petition!!!!
