"We have experienced the YRS with our oldest daughter and think it is a great benefit for the children. Each 9 weeks, she was ready for a 3 week break and then ready to return usually before the break was over. Returning after summer break was easier also."

"I babysit for my daughter while she teaches at Eastfield. I encouraged her to try the schedule because I wanted a break in the fall to go on vacation. She tried Year Round and loves it. She would not go back to a traditional calendar unless she had too."
