Currently the State of Indiana protects children with Autism by requiring health insurance companies to provide coverage (IC 27-8-14.2 - Chapter 14.2. Insurance Coverage for Pervasive Developmental Disorders). We would like to appeal to Governor Daniels and the Members of the Indiana General Assembly, that we the undersigned citizens of Indiana, want you to keep the Insurance Mandate for Autism and Pervasive Developmental disorders intact. Do not repeal it, or weaken it through exemptions or any other limitations in the original law, HEA 1122, enacted in July 2001. Thank you!
