There are many Israeli students who study in Columbia University, in various undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition there are many students on campus who are very interested in Israeli culture and current events.
We, the Undersigned, would love to see more programming in Hillel that is directed towards Israeli students. We think that installing the Israeli Network (http://www.idishnetwork.com/programming_detail.php?id=0397&kbid=2825&sub=13d2) is a great way to begin.
Having the Israeli Network in the Kraft Center would allow a large number of students to stay in tune to Israeli culture and current events in HEBREW!
We think that $20 a month is a reasonable price to pay for such a service.
We hope that the Isreali Network can be brought into Hillel as soon as possible.
