To characterize Richard Skorman's years of service on the Colorado Springs City Council as token is an injustice to the man and his outstanding contributions to society. It is also a slap in the face for people who share Richards views and would like to see his enlightened agenda for our City advanced.
Honorable Mayor, Councilmen and Councilwoman, we urge you to do the right thing. Please interview the top ranking Councilor candidates - Bernie Herpin, Annie Oatman-Gardner and Thomas Harold - in the public eye, as you told us you would.
And only then make a fair and balanced decision about who would be best suited to fill Richard's vacant seat and be The Voice for his constituents.
