Invocation of Section 9.4.1 of the DCU Networking Society Constitution

To Whom It May Concerned, We, the undersigned, hereby invoke Section 9.4.1 f the DCU Networking Society (Redbrick) Constitution, which states that: "An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) shall be convened if 5% of the ordinary membership of the society request one" This is being undertaken as it is understood that at the Annual General Meeting on March 27th, 2012: i. a proposal to give train ops in #lobby was not considered serious enough to be voted on, thereby in breach of Section 9.8 of the aforementioned Constitution. ii. allegedly, the right to vote was not checked, thereby allowing anyone present to vote, not just valid members of the Society. We believe that this undermines the validity of the AGM, and we hereby call for an EGM. Regards, The Undersigned
