iPhone in Latin America

Statement in English:
We who live in Latin America got very disappointed with Apple when they officially announced that they would not be launching their fascinating iPhone in Latin America and even mentioned putting a region lock in their gadget that would supposedly block SIM cards from other countries (that's against the spirit of the GSM technology too, that's meant to allow people to travel to other countries to buy a new chip and use their phones normally).

Apple, you're going to loose several clients if you keep your new product out of Latin America and I'm personally not buying any other Apple product until I hear something new about the subject.

Nуs que vivemos na Amйrica Latina ficamos muito decepcionados com a Apple quando eles anunciaram oficialmente que nгo iriam lanзar o fascinante iPhone na Amйrica Latina e atй mencionaram a inclusгo de uma trava regional que bloquearia cartхes SIM adquiridos fora do paнs onde o iPhone foi comprado (isso й tambйm contra o espнrito da tecnologia GSM que й desenhada para permitir que alguйm viaje para outro paнs, compre um chip de uma operadora local e use o celular normalmente)

Apple, vocкs estarгo perdendo vбrios clientes se vocкs manterem seu produto fora da Amйrica Latina e eu pessoalmente nгo irei comprar nenhum produto da Apple atй que eu ouзa algo novo sobre o assunto.
