The signatories to this petition are all in agreement with the prohibition of Janjir Matham inside the physical building housing the religious establishment known as Idara-e-Jaferia located at 3140 Spencerville Road Burtonsville, MD 20866.
The objections are based on expert medical advice related to the transmittal of infectious diseases carried in the blood stream of individuals who may/may not know otherwise that they are carriers of such diseases and could therefore inadvertently be responsible for the transmission of untreatable disease to the general community who may also be using the premises for events/classes.
We do not object to Janjir Matham, but we feel it should be conducted in an environment which is not shared by the general community and is not enclosed by structural constraints e.g. walls.
