Erin LeeAnn Wade-Jones was MURDERED on May 5, 2007. She was shot, execution style, by her ex-boyfriend. Her ex-boyfriend apparently did not like it when Erin broke off the relationship with him.

A former Dodge City policeman accused of killing his ex-girlfriend has been charged with two felonies and a traffic offense in a Colorado case.
ahah is also accused of fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend, Erin L. Jones, on May 5 at her home in Dodge City. He has been charged with second-degree murder in that case.

Tahah hearing pushed back

The contested preliminary hearing for a former Dodge City police officer accused of killing his ex-girlfriend has been delayed.
The hearing for Christopher Tahah was originally set for Tuesday, Oct. 16, but the prosecution and defense have agreed to a postponement, the Ford County Attorney's Office said Thursday. A new date has not been scheduled yet.

Now- this is ridiculous! The family of Erin Wade-Jones deserves to have justice served and get some closure so that they can get on with their lives!
Does the fact that her murderer, Christopher Tahah, is a former cop have anything to do with this case not being brought to justice??????

This petition is a statement seeking not only justice for Erin, but to let our law makers know that we are TIRED of cops acting as though they are ABOVE the law- and the "shield of blue" protecting them! This injustice has got to brought to a stop, it happens all over the country, all the time. Erin's family needs for this man to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If the local prosecutor isn't going to pursue it correctly, we need to get this case the attention it deserves to be properly prosecuted, even if it has to go to the highest courts in the land!
As well as the fact that the people who make the laws in this nation need to start making some that everyone has to follow- even those in blue!
