Dear Organizers of the German Ring*Con!
We, the fans and supporters of the New Zealand actor Karl Urban, would love to see him on the next Ring*Con in Germany, that would be the Ring*Con2006.
We've been hoping to find him on the "Special Guests List" ever since the first Ring*Con in 2002, and we've always been disappointed and put off. In 2004 you told us he had to cancel at short notice, as he had 'other important appointments'. Okay, so he was bound by contracts, we can't do anything about that. But you promised to try and get him as a guest for 2005. I take it that didn't work either, as he's apparently not on the Guests List again.
We, the Undersigned, ask you to employ a little more effort to get Mr Urban for a visit at next year's Con, the Ring*Con2006. We didn't exactly get the impression that you ever tried in earnest.
As it will be the 5th Ring*Con in 2006, this would make a gorgeous anniversary bonus.
