This petition is here to show that people prefer light evenings to light mornings. A large portion of our allotted daylight hours are missed by most people because they simply aren't awake. Who wants daylight at 6am on Saturday and Sunday and darkness at 5pm? Parents don't want their kids leaving school at dusk. Teenagers want to learn to drive after school when its light, not when its dark. Who actually is it that benefits from the time swap? The 4 (or maybe 5) farmers in Scotland, who claim it helps them. There must be loads of people affected by the early darkness. To most people there is no benefit. Obviously it couldn't stay being called British Summer Time. So how about British Standard Time?
