We, the undersigned, request that you do not close the Heron Frozen Foods on Middle Street South, Driffield, East Yorkshire, as planned on December 9th, 2006.
Heron Frozen Foods has been an integral part of the community since the store opened in 1993. Many people rely on the store for easy access and the friendlyness of the staff, and prefer shopping here to one of the big stores in the town.
Don't let the big boys win. Please keep the store open and stop Tescos from taking over.
We who sign this petition firmly beleive that Heron should be allowed to remain in the town and continue to perform an integral role in the community within Driffield.

i once visited heron and was impressed by the range of services they offer as well as frozen food i could get household goods, magazines, car insurance and a credit card, actually, come to think of it that was tescos. i'm not sure if i want heron to stay

I live in the USa but every time I come home I go into Herrons. My sister Chris England works there and I know she enjoys it very much. If I lived in Driffield I would shop there as they have great bargains and terriific prices.
