Reasons why Ice Time needs to be kept open :
Orange County will not have a single ice skating rink once Ice Time closes. The only rinks near are in Rockland, Brewster, Bear Mountain, and Poughkeepsie. Many people can't afford the gasoline needed to drive to these places.
A number of people will loose their jobs.
Ice Time is a wonderful family and friends recreational destination. It's such a great place for family and friends to come together. Without Ice Time, people can't healthfully come together.
Ice skating (hockey, figure skating, speed skating,) is great exercise, it also helps with lowering the obesity rate.
Ice Time gets a lot of traffic in the winter months, the ice rink makes a lot of money.
Too many people are going to be impacted by this!

Without Ice Time open, Monroe Woodbury varsity ice hockey will have no where to play, neither will much of hudson valley hockey leagues/teams
