"The Aim of the D2D Arts Centre is to inspire and encourage children, youth and adults in Alberta to explore and channel their physical and mental creativity through the performing and visual arts. The Centre will acheive its aims principally by teaching, showcasing and mentoring dancers, musicians and artists, by: A) Developing and promoting the interest of the visual and performing arts to all segments of Society. B) To carry on and organize social and competitive dancing, with a focus on the love of dance, team support and mental and physical well-being. C) To encourage all artists of the community to participate in dancing, musical and visual arts as an activity that promotes self-worth, self-confidence and a sense of community, regardless of financial means.
