Krystals and Vanity – the story so far..................
Sanjay Raval took possession of the venue formally known as The Manor Club, situated on New Road in Chatham earlier this year. He has fully refurbished and transformed the venue into a 1000 capacity premier nightspot featuring 2 rooms, a VIP balcony, and large smoking terrace, Creating a new club 5 nights a week which showcases international DJ's, Artists, Acts and Celebrities never seen before in the Medway towns.
With over 3000 people visiting the venue each week, Mr Raval has revived the social scene in chatham as well as bringing much needed attention, improved economy and over 80 jobs to the area. It is now widely regarded as Medways #1 Nightspot!
The club was already licensed for drinks and dancing but with earlier closing times than some other nightclubs nearby in the area. Sanjay applied for a new licence to enable the club to offer similar opening hours to the other venues in close proximity. A Court hearing for the licence review was set for the 2nd of September. All authorities including Police Licensing, Fire officer, Environmental Health, and Medway Council had NO OBJECTIONS on the day to the proposed hours and operation of the club.
Despite this the licence granted to Krystals is on some nights EARLIER than the original licensing hours and no reason was given for why we now have a licence that does not have the same hours as nearby Nightclubs in Rochester and Gillingham. We believe our business deserves the same equal opportunity and trading hours as the other clubs and know that you, as our loyal customers, would love to be able to taste the Krystals experience for longer!
Our next licensing hearing is on 6th December so if you would like to see Krystals open with our intended hours of 2am on a Tuesday & Wednesday and 3am Thursday, Friday & Saturday and don’t think it fair that other clubs are given preferential treatment then please show your support and take 5 minutes to sign our petition.
Thank you in advance
