Letter of Support to open Wasted Space Live Music Venue
Living in a city, such as St. Albert, is being part of a community. Within our community of St. Albert, is a vibrant mosaic of cultural events, arts, and music. These pillars are what make our community something different from all the others.
We are in the process of opening a live music venue in St. Albert, and are realizing that this is not the direction that some members of our community want this town to go in.
We need to come together as a music loving area, and prove to the critics of the proposed music venue that we can also be upstanding members of our city.
The Wasted Space venue will be going into the old Brew-in Taphouse, and was slated to be opened the second week of September. It will host an assortment of musical/entertainment events for our community in a live atmosphere.
The issue that some members of the community have with the venue is that it will embody the issues and problems of the previous owners of the location. We are our own venue, for our own clientele, with our own style of service, our own rules and policies set forth to follow, and our own uphill battle to prove that we can serve the community in a positive light.
Please sign this letter of support to show our community that we care about the artistic and cultural standards that it has set, and want to see the venue aid in the future development of the arts/culture community we have all worked so hard to forge.
The City of St. Albert is proud of its community and all that it has to offer. With its picturesque landscape, outstanding parks and trails, state-of-the-art recreational facilities, robust arts and culture community and countless amenities, this city has it all!
