I have been recently informed by two military wives about several Tim Hortons locations not allowing their staff members to wear a poppy leading up to Remembrance Day. They are however given a sticker to wear on November 11th.

For a company that airs commercials on TV & Radio stating how important it is to remember the sacrifice of our veterans this is repulsive.

There may be concerns about the poppys falling off or safety issues however there are options to pin them in with a lapel instead of letting them wear a sticker on November 11th itself.

The Two locations which have been confirmed are in CFB Trenton, Ontario on RCAF Road and CFB Petawawa also in Ontario.

If you agree that this should be changed please sign the petition below and share on your Facebook and Twitter pages.

Thank You
