"Prom in Santa Clara County or school organizes buses for which the parents pay. Students held accountable to get on the bus with chaperones and/or signed contract. Mildly symbolically disfavor celebrating the end of one's Los Gatos school years fifty mile"

"The LGHS Prom should be held within 1/2 hour drive of the school. If it is to be further, buses must be provided. Expecting/allowing kids to drive that distance on that occasion late at night is a recipe for disaster."
