Hip-hop artist Marshall Mathers III (more commonly known as Eminem or Slim Shady) was banned from performing in Ontario back in the early part of the last decade. This is why you never see performances from the legend in Ontario, Canada.
He was banned because of the lyrics of his songs, and other issues that surrounded him as a young artist. But really none of the is relevant now, as the world is a lot more open now than it was back then.
Think about this, we let other artists who have gone to jail for possession of drugs, weapon charges, and other more serious crimes, perform in Ontario, yet Eminem is not allowed because of a few gestures he made....that doesn't seem right.
So please sign our petition to let one of the industries greatest artist to perform once again in Ontario.
